Our Farm

Rockwood is a working farm, growing cut flowers for the local and export markets.  We have a biological approach to our farming, with a strong consideration of the surrounding environment.

Our flower season runs from May to November, overlapping with the Wild Flower season in August and September. This time is a feast for flower lovers with wild and cultivated flowers blooming together in a celebration of colour.

At present we have 20 hectares under production; a mix of Geraldton Wax (Chamelaucium uncinatum and megalopetalum) and Blushing Brides (Serruria Florida). Guests can see the process of flower farming, from planting to harvesting and processing. Walk between the rows of cultivated flowers and  take a tour of our pack shed, where the flowers are processed for delivery to local and export markets. Take home a small bouquet as a reminder of your stay.
